Sheila P. Woods is a gifted oil painter, instructor and illustrator. Her cheerful deposition and let's-get-it-done attitude is a magnet that draws people to her. Always creative and energetic, she thrives on finding the inner artist in every student.
With talents to spare, Sheila's mastered the art of gourmet cooking, gardening and speaks fluent Spanish. And if you happen to need an illustration, she does that too. Although her heart will always love the refined beauty and elegance of oil painting, her passion is making children's book illustrations. From cute to classic, her repertoire includes island lizards, Christmas rats, to customized designs and concepts. Imagine what she can do with your family history stories!
Sheila developed a love of art at a young age. In fact, her Mother often told her that she entered the world holding a pencil. Sheila has lived in many states. But, is proud to call Utah home. Sheila teaches art classes out of her home that she lovingly calls her “studio”. She is a bubbly, warm hearted woman with a knack for making instant life-long friends. Sheila graduated with a bachelors of art degree from BYU-Idaho, volunteers in the community, and loves being a Mom and Grandma.
I offer oil painting classes designed for teens and adults who want to take their art to the next level. With personal one-on-one instruction, class sizes are kept to a minimum to provide comprehensive learning in a casual setting. Please visit my art studio.

Nothing stirs my soul like illustrating children's books. I've had the opportunity to design and illustrate several books that are available for purchase through Amazon by author Valanee Eriksen.
